A RESOLUTION REGARDING CDBG AND NEIGHBORHOOD
REVITALIZATION PROGRAM STAFFING.
WHEREAS, the City Council has established neighborhood and downtown revitalization
as goals for Calendar Year 2004-05; and
WHEREAS, additional staff is needed to accomplish these goals; and
WHEREAS, Federal funds from the CDBG and HOME programs are available to fund
the two new proposed positions; Now, THEREFORE;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
Section 1. The position of CDBG Coordinator be eliminated from the 2005 Annual
City Budget.
Section 2. The positions of Urban Development Coordinator (Grade 62) and
Associate Planner (Grade 51) are authorized for the 2005 Budget.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized to fill the Urban Development
Coordinator Position as soon as feasible using Federal CDBG funds and to fill the Associate
Planner position upon City Council approval for the use of Federal 2005 HOME funds.
