A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO
CONSIDER VACATING A PORTION OF BURDEN BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where it serves the
general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate rights-of-way; and
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on vacations to be fixed by
Resolution, NOW,THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That a public hearing to consider vacating a portion of Burden Boulevard located in the
northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 15, Township 9 North,Range 29; being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Section 15; thence s.01°34'15"w. along the
east line thereof a distance of 1.72 feet to the true point of beginning. thence
continuing s.01°34'15"w. along said east line a distance of 38.40 feet; thence
s.86°56'21"w. 40.00 feet south of and parallel to the north line of said section 15 a
distance of 484.33 feet; thence n.01°34'15"c. a distance of 13.79 feet to a point 40.00
feet southeasterly at right angle to the centerline of burden boulevard as constructed;
thence n.83°52'50"e. parallel to said centerline a distance of 434.09 feet to a point of
curve; thence along a curve to the right having a central angle of 03'09'19", a radius
of 960.00 feet, an arc distance of 52.87 feet to the point of beginning,
will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers of the
City Hall, 525 North 3rd Avenue, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., on the 6th day of
December, 2004. That the City Clerk of the City of Pasco shall give notice of said public hearing
as required by law.
