A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE I-182 —ARGENT ROAD ACCESS RAMPS.
WHEREAS, the City contracted with Washington State Department of Transportation
(WSDOT) to do preliminary engineering and provide an Access Point Decision Report for the
project, and
WHEREAS, the City, the Port of Pasco and Columbia Basin College are sharing in the
costs of the project, and
WHEREAS, the preliminary work is nearly complete and the Access Point Decision
Report has been submitted to WSDOT in Olympia for approval, and
WHEREAS, two viable alternatives have been identified in the Access Point Decision
Report, and
WHEREAS,time is of importance for the project to proceed in 2004,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PASCO AS FOLLOWS:
1. The preferred alternative for the project is Alternative#1.
2. Alternative 42 is acceptable to the City only in the event Alternative #1 is not
acceptable to WSDOT.
Adopted by the Council at a regular meeting this 17'h day of February, 2004.
