RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION fixing the time and date for a public hearing to consider the
vacation of a portion of Arthur Street (5th Ave) and a portion
of the east/west alley in Block 6, Sylvester's Addition.
WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where
it serves the general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate rights-of-
way; and
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on vacations to be .
fixed by Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That a public hearing to consider vacating Arthur Street from the north
line of West Nixon Street to the west line of North Fifth Avenue and that portion
of the old Nixon Street right-of-way between the north line of the current Nixon
Street, the west line of North Fifth Avenue and the east line of Arthur Street
together with the east/west alley in Block 6, Sylvester's Addition from the west
line of Lots 29 and 4 to the west line of North Fifth Avenue, will be held before
the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers of the City Hall,
525 North 3rd Avenue, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., on the
15th day of March, 2004. That the City Clerk of the City of Pasco give notice of
said public hearing as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 17th day of February,
2004.
