A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF COURT STREET AND 32ND
AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the Pasco City Council passed Resolution No. 2764 on September 15, 2003
declaring that said real property is surplus to the needs of the City, and;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2764 authorized the City manager to solicit proposals for
the sale of surplus property, and;
WHEREAS, Bill McCurley Chevrolet, Inc. submitted a proposal to purchase the surplus
property for 5110,000 for the development of a fleet and commercial vehicle sales center; NOW
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the Pasco City Council hereby accepts and approves the Purchase and Sales
Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A regarding the 32nd Avenue and Court Street property.
That the Pasco City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the Purchase
and Sales Agreement and further authorizes the City manager to do all other things necessary to
conclude the sale of said real property in accord with the Agreement.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco at a regular meeting this 17th of
November, 2003.
