A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO,WASHINGTON,AUTHORIZING THE EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY WITH FRANKLIN COUNTY,WASHINGTON WHEREAS, the City of Pasco owns real property located at 5th and Octave streets, zoned for office development, which is surplus to the City needs but desired by Franklin County, and Franklin County owns a larger parcel of real property located at 5th and Marie Street within the City zoned for office development, which is surplus to the County's needs; and WHEREAS, such exchange is authorized pursuant to RCW 39.33.020, and the hearing thereon being held before the Franklin County Board of Commissioners on January 27, 2003; and WHEREAS, the value of the property has been established for the purpose of this exchange by appraisal, NOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council hereby finds it is in the best interest of the City of Pasco to acquire from Franklin County that property known as the 5th and Octave street site and more particularly described as follows: All Block 7, Sylvester's 2nd Addition, Franklin County Assessor's Parcel Number 112-152-019, Records of Franklin County, Washington. Such real property shall be received in exchange for that real property owned by the City of Pasco, generally known as the 51h and Octave streets parcel,more particularly known as follows: Lots 27 to 32, Block 1, Sylvester's 2nd Addition, Franklin County Assessor's Parcel Number 112-154-017, Records of Franklin County, Washington. Subject to a covenant prohibiting its use for parking or storage. Together with payment of not more than$75,000. Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to effect the transfer authorized herein.
