A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE INTER-DEPARTMENT TRANSFER OF REAL
PROPERTY FROM THE WATER/SEWER FUND TO THE GENERAL
FUND TO FACILITATE AN EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY WITH
FRANKLIN COUNTY,WASHINGTON
WHEREAS, the Water/Sewer Fund has allocated to a parcel of land located at 5t" and
Octave streets, which was formerly used as a site of a City water reservoir site; and
WHEREAS, since the removal of the water reservoir from that site, this real property has
become surplus to the needs of the Water/Sewer Fund; and
WHEREAS, the desires to exchange this parcel as part payment for a larger parcel of
real property owned by Franklin County, Washington; and
WHEREAS, a valid appraisal has established the value of said real property at
$36,000.00, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby directs, conveys and transfers that ownership of
that parcel generally known as the 5`h and Octave site, and more particularly described as
follows:
Lots 27 to 32, Block 1, Sylvester's 2nd Addition, Records of Franklin County,
Washington.
from the City of Pasco Water/Sewer Fund to the General Fund upon the payment of the
appraised value of the real property in the sum of $36,000.00 from the General Fund to the
Water/Sewer Fund.
APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, at their regular
meeting on the 3rd day of February, 2003.
