A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND DATE FOR A
PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE VACATION OF STREET
AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN THE NORTHWEST QUARTER
OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 9 NORTH, RANGE 29 EAST, W.M.
WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the City Council of the
City of Pasco requesting vacation of certain easements within the City of Pasco;
and
WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where
it serves the general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate
easements and rights-of-way; and
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on vacations to be
fixed by Resolution; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That a public hearing to consider the vacation of the 50-foot road
easement parallel to and 395.97 feet south of the north line Section 17,
Township 9 North, Range 29 East, W.M. (Said easement extends east from
Broadmoor Boulevard a distance of approximately 1,657 feet); together with the
north/south road and utility easement in said Section located approximately
850 feet east of Broadmoor Boulevard in a tract identified in Auditors File #
1584508, will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall, 525 North 3rd Avenue, Pasco, Washington, at the
hour of 7:00 p.m., on the 18th day of February, 2003. That the City Clerk of
the City of Pasco give notice of said public hearing as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 21 st day of January,
2003.
