RESOLUTION NO. e:P V72
A RESOLUTION regarding the sale of surplus property in the vicinity of TRAC for the
development of a hotel.
WHEREAS, the City has entered into an Interlocal Agreement with Franklin County for
the disposition of Lot 96 Binding Site Plan 2001-6 (Hotel property near TRAC), and;
WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution No. 2650 on March 4, 2002, declaring
that said real property is surplus to the needs of the City, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution No. 2653 authorizing the sale of the
property to A-1 Hospitality, and;
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Commissioners passed Franklin County Resolution No.
2002-255 amending the legal description of the property to be sold from 3 acres to 3.5 acres,
Now therefore:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Pasco City Council hereby accepts and approves the Addendum to
the Purchase and Sale Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit "A" regarding the City-owned real
property adjacent the TRAC facility in Pasco.
Section 2. That the Pasco City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute
the Addendum to the Purchase and Sale Agreement and further authorizes the City Manager to
do all other things necessary to conclude the sale of such real property in accord with the
amended Agreement.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, at a regular meeting this

REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT
ADDENDUM -- --- — -- - —
The following terms and conditions are part of the Purchase and Sale Agreement between A-1
Hospitality and the City of Pasco as approved April 1, 2002.
Property Description: Lot 6, Binding Site Plan 2001-06 as revised(TRAC Hotel Site)
The parties further agree as follows:
(1) The amount of land to be purchased shall increase from 3.0 acres to 3.5 acres. The legal
description of the 3.5 acre site is as follows:
A parcel of land situated in the northwest quarter of Section 15, Township 9 North,
Range 29 East, Willamette Meridian, Franklin County, Washington, described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said northwest quarter; thence S.01°27'05" W.,
along the west line of said northwest quarter a distance of 721.68 feet; thence
S.88 019'46" E., 37.62 feet to a point on the easterly margin of Convention Place and the
true point of beginning; thence continuing S. 88°19'46"E. A distance of 733.32 feet;
thence S.01°40'14"W. A distance of 207.92 feet to a point on the northerly margin of
Home Run Road; thence N.88°21'34"W, along said northerly margin a distance of 700.21
feet to a point of curve; thence along a curve to the right having a central angle of
90°00'0", a radius of 25.00 feet and an arc distance of 39.27 feet to a point of tangent and
being of the easterly margin of said Convention Place; thence N.01°38'26"E. along said
easterly margin a distance of 183.31 feet to the true point of beginning.
Subject to easements,reservations and restrictions of record.
Containing 3.50 acres or 152,469 square feet.
(2) The purchase price of the 3.5 acre site shall be $152,835 (152,469 sq. ft. Y $1.0024) =
$152,835
