A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE SEGREGATION OF
ASSESSMENT FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL IN L.I.D. 126.
WHEREAS, RCW 35.44.410 provides that whenever land against which
there has been levied a special assessment has been sold in part or subdivided,
the legislative authority of that City shall have the power to order a segregation
of the assessment; and
WHEREAS, Metropolitan Mortgage & Securities Co., Inc. has segregated
a 39.32 acre tract of land identified as Account No. 16E into Account No. 16E-
001 with 1.39 acres, Account No. 16E-002 with 1.27 acres, Account No. 16E-
003 with 1.10 acres, Account No. 16E-004 with 1.10 acres, Account No. 16E-
005 with 1.10 acres, Account No. 16E-006 with 1.10 acres, Account No. 16E-
007 with 32.28 acres (See Exhibit A), and
WHEREAS, on January 16, 1996 the City Council of the City of Pasco
adopted the final assessment roll for L.I.D. 126 levying an assessment in the
amount of$282,034.10 against Account No. 16E; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO,
WASHINGTON:
That the City Council of the City of Pasco hereby directs the City staff to
segregate the assessment for Account No. 16E of L.I.D. 126 into Account No.
16E-001 in the amount of $9,970.18, Account No. 16E-002 in the amount of
$9,109.44, Account No. 16E-003 in the amount of $7,890.07, Account No.
16E-004 in the amount of $7,890.07, Account No. 16E-005 in the amount of
$7,890.07, Account No. 16E-006 in the amount of $7,746.61 and Account No.
16E-007 in the amount of$231,537.66.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 17' Day
of June 2002.
