A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN HOURLY WAGE PLAN FOR
TEMPORARY/SEASONAL CLASSIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, delivery of city services, particularly recreation programs,
involve the use of temporary and seasonal employees; and
WHEREAS, applicable state and federal laws mandate adjustment of the
minimum wage from time to time; and
WHEREAS, the minimum wage adjustments have created a need to
adjust the entire hourly wage plan for temporary and seasonal classifications
employed by the city in the delivery of various municipal services; NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the hourly wage plan for temporary/seasonal
classifications, as reflected in Exhibit "A" attached to this Resolution, is hereby
approved.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to use the subject
hourly wage plan as deemed appropriate and necessary for the delivery of
municipal services.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco at a regular meeting this
19" day of February, 2002.
