A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of surplus City
property.
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco holds title to real property described as
Lots 27-32, Block 1, Sylvester's Second Addition; and
WHEREAS, said real property is surplus to the needs of the City of Pasco
and it is in the public interest that the property be sold; and
WHEREAS, said property is zoned for Office development and the City
desires the property be developed for uses consistent with the current zoning;
and
WHEREAS, a minimum value for the property must be established to
guarantee a reasonable return; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Manager is authorized to solicit proposals for the sale of
property for a price not less than $28,000.
2. The property will be offered on a proposal basis where the size,
design, nature and timing of proposed improvements will be
considered along with the proposed purchase price.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 22"d day of January,
2002.
