A RESOLUTION approving a grant of a utility easement for
the installation of cell phone antennas on the Road 68 Water
Tower.
WHEREAS, VoiceStream L.P., a Delaware Limited Partnership, a cellular
phone provider (VoiceStream), has entered into a lease with the City for the
installation of cell phone antennas on the Road 68 water tower; and
WHEREAS, VoiceStream requires an easement across City property
adjacent to the water tower in order to install utilities for its antennas; and
WHEREAS, the city has determined that it is in the public interest to
grant the easement to VoiceStream; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Pasco City Council hereby approves the grant of a
utility easement for the installation of cell phone antennas on the Road 68
water tower and authorizes the Mayor to execute the easement on behalf of the
City.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 22" day of January,
2002.
