HomeMy WebLinkAbout2624 Resolution RESOLUTION NO. 2624 A RESOLUTION fixing the time and date for a public hearing to consider the vacation of the east and west 10 feet of South 2nd Avenue lying between Ainsworth Avenue and Washington Avenue. WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Pasco requesting vacation of certain street and alley rights-of-way within the City of Pasco; and WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where it serves the general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate rights-of- way; and WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on vacations to be fixed by Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO: That a public hearing to consider the vacation of East and West ten (10) feet of South 2nd Avenue lying between the southerly right of way line of Ainsworth Avenue and the northerly right-of-way line of Washington Avenue, will be held before the Pasco City Council in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 525 North 3rd Avenue, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., on the 3' day of December, 2001. That the City Clerk of the City of Pasco give notice of said public hearing as required by law. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 5' day of November, 2001. Gam+ Michael L.
