A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A TEN PERCENT
ANNEXATION PETITION AND PROVIDING A DETERMINATION ON
THE TERRITORY TO BE ANNEXED AND WHETHER
SIMULTANEOUS ZONING AND THE ASSUMPTION OF BONDED
INDEBTEDNESS WILL BE REQUIRED.
WHEREAS, owners of property, generally between Pearl Street and
Argent Place east of Road 40, as described in Exhibit "A' attached hereto, have
initiated action to annex to the City of Pasco; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco has reviewed the
annexation petition and has determined annexation of the territory would
further orderly growth of the City and is in the best interest of the community;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
A) That the City will accept the proposed territory to be annexed as
described in Exhibit "A" and depicted in Exhibit "B" attached hereto.
B) That the territory to be annexed will not require simultaneous
adoption of zoning regulations. Zoning will be determined through a public
hearing process with input from affected property owners.
C) That the annexation area will not be required to assume any
portion of existing City bonded indebtedness.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 17' day of
September, 2001.

Beginning at a point on the South right-of-way line of Pearl Street, said point
being the intersection of the South right-of-way line of Pearl Street and the East
right-of-way line of Road 40; Thence Northerly along the Northerly projection of
the East right-of-way line of Road 40 to the North right-of-way line of Pearl
Street; Thence continuing North along the East right-of-way line of Road 40 to
the intersection with the North line of the South half of the South half of the
Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 23, Township 9 North,
Range 29 East W.M., Thence Westerly along the projection of said line to the
west right-of-way line of Road 40; Thence North along the West right-of-way line
of Road 40 to the intersection with the South right-of-way line of Wernett Road;
Thence continuing North along the Northerly projection of the West right-of-way
line of Road 40 to the intersection with the North right-of-way line of Wernett
Road; Thence Easterly along the North right-of-way line of Wernett Road to the
intersection with the East line of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 23, Township 9 North, Range 29
