A RESOLUTION rescinding Resolution No. 2607 and fixing
a new time and date for a public hearing to consider the vacation
of a portion of West Court Street located between 24`° and 26'''
Avenue.
WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the City Council of the City
of Pasco requesting vacation of certain street and alley rights-of-way within the
City of Pasco; and
WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where
it serves the general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate rights-of-
way; and
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on vacations to be
fixed by Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
SECTION 1. That Resolution No. 2607 is hereby rescinded and declared
null and void.
SECTION 2. That a public hearing to consider the vacation of the south
25 feet tapering to 15 feet of West Court Street as described in Auditor's File
No. 254730 for a distance of 443 feet east of the center line Road 26 as
depicted in Exhibit No. 1, will be held before the City Council of the City of
Pasco in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 525 North 3rd Avenue, Pasco,
Washington, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., on the 15"' day of October, 2001. That
the City Clerk of the City of Pasco give notice of said public hearing as required
by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 17t" day of September,
2001.
