RESOLUTION NO. 2599
A RESOLUTION fixing the time and date for a public
hearing to consider the vacation of a portion of East Lewis Street
located between East Lewis Place and the new alignment of East
Lewis Street.
WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the City Council of the City
of Pasco requesting vacation of certain street and alley rights-of-way within the
City of Pasco; and
WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where
it serves the general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate rights-of-
way; and
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on vacations to be
fixed by Resolution; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That a public hearing to consider the vacation of East Lewis Street from
the westerly right-of-way line of East Lewis Place to the east right-of-way of the
realignment of East Lewis Street according to the Washington State
Department of Transportation construction drawings as depicted in Exhibit No.
1, will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall, 525 North 3rd Avenue, Pasco, Washington, at the
hour of 7:00 p.m., on the 6th day of August, 2001. That the City Clerk of the
City of Pasco give notice of said public hearing as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 2°d. day of July,
2001.
