HomeMy WebLinkAbout2591 Resolution x k RESOLUTTION NO. 2591 A RESOLUTION fixing the time and date for a public hearing to consider the vacation of Ninth Avenue from Lewis Street to Columbia Street and the North/South alley in Block 4 Pettit's Second Addition. WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Pasco requesting vacation of certain street and alley rights-of-way within the City of Pasco; and WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where it serves the general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate rights-of- way; and WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on vacations to be fixed by Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO: That a public hearing to consider the vacation of Ninth Avenue from the south right-of-way line of Lewis Street to the north right-of-way of Columbia Street, together with the north/south alley in Block 4 Pettit's Second Addition, will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers of the City Hail, 525 North 3rd Avenue, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., on the 18th day of June, 2001. That the City Clerk of the City of Pasco give notice of said public hearing as required by law. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 21St day of May, 2001.
