A RESOLUTION fixing the time and date for a public
hearing to consider the vacation of portions of New York
Street, Duluth Street, Front Avenue and the alleys in Blocks
110 and 111, Pasco Land Company's 1St Addition and the
alleys in Blocks 11 and 12, Frey's Addition.
WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the City Council of the City
of Pasco requesting vacation of certain street and alley rights-of-way within the
City of Pasco; and
WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where
it serves the general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate rights-of-
way; and
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on vacations to be
fixed by Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That a public hearing to consider the vacation of New York Street from the
west right-of-way line of Oregon Avenue to the east right-of-way line of Front
Avenue, Duluth Street from the west right-of-way line of Main Avenue to the
west right-of-way line of Front Avenue, Front Avenue from the north right-of-
way line of Spokane Street to the northern terminus, all alleys in Blocks 110,
111 and 112, Pasco Land Company's 111t Addition, the alley in north/south
alley in Block 12, Frey's Addition, only that portion of the north/south alley
in Block 11, Frey's Addition adjacent to Lots 1-3 and the remaining portion of
the northwest/southeast alley in Block 11, Frey's Addition will be held before
the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall, 525 North 3rd Avenue, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., on
the 5th day of March, 2001. That the City Clerk of the City of Pasco give
notice of said public hearing as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 5th day of February,
2001.
