A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO ADOPTING THE
SACAGAWEA HERITAGE TRAIL MASTER PLAN.
WHEREAS, the enhancement of the section of Columbia riverfront located
between the "Blue" and "Cable" Bridges is a key component of the regional
Sacagawea Heritage Trail Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, area representatives formed a committee to develop a plan for a
regional loop trail connecting each of the jurisdictions; and
WHEREAS, the Sacagawea Heritage Trail Master Plan illustrates a vision
for a continuous bicycle and pedestrian route connecting the Tri-Cities; and
WHEREAS, the plan showcases interpretive opportunities and is intended to
create an amenity for both local residents and visitors.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pasco:
A) The Sacagawea Heritage Trail Master Plan is hereby adopted.
B) This resolution shall take effect immediately.
