HomeMy WebLinkAbout2528 Resolution RESOLUTION NO. 2528 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS CITY PROPERTY. WHEREAS, the City of Pasco holds title to real property located at the southeast corner of Bonneville Street and 2nd Avenue described as follows: NP Plat, Lots 7 & 8, Block 14, Except for the south 61 feet of Lot 8, & Except the south 61 feet of the west 42 feet of Lot 7; and WHEREAS, said real property is surplus to the needs of the City of Pasco; and WHEREAS, the City of Pasco solicited and obtained three responsible bids for the property; and WHEREAS, Mid-Columbia Mobile Homes Inc. submitted the high bid of $8,859.00 for the property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Manager is authorized to sell the property referenced herein to Mid-Columbia Mobile Homes, Inc., for a price not less than $8,959.00. 2. The City Manager is authorized to sign the Quit Claim Deed as authorized by this resolution on behalf of the City and conveying the real property described herein to the purchaser(s). 3. The closing of such purchase shall be at Pasco City Hall. The purchaser(s) shall be responsible for all costs attendant upon transfer of the property, including but not limited to, the cost of any title insurance and recording fees. Seaman, Deputy City Clerk Leland err, City Att n QUIT CLAIM DEED The GRANTORS, the City of Pasco, Washington, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, for and in consideration of Eight Thousand, Eight Hundred and Fifty Nine ($8,859.00), conveys and quit claims to Mid- Columbia Mobile Homes Inc. the following described real estate, situated in the County of Franklin, State of Washington- N.P. Plat, Lots 7 8s 8, Block 14 Pasco Addition, Except the South 61 feet of Lot 8 and Except the South 61 feet of the West 42 feet of Lot 7; Subject to the condition that the initial residential structures built thereon be sold to and/or occupied by owner-occupants; and further subject to the condition that in the event that said lots not be developed with a residential structure within eighteen (18) months of the date of this deed, the undeveloped lots shall revert back to the ownership of the party of the first part, and the party of the second part shall receive Four Thousand, Four Hundred Twenty Nine dollars ($4,429) from the party of the first part in refund.
