HomeMy WebLinkAbout2503 Resolution � s a RESOLUTION NO. 2503 A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE VACATION OF FRONT AVENUE LYING SOUTH OF LEWIS STREET. WHEREAS, a qualified petition has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Pasco requesting vacation of certain street rights-of-way within the City of Pasco; and WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where it serves the general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate rights-of- way; and WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79 requires public hearings on vacations to be fixed by Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO: That a public hearing to consider the vacation of Front Avenue from the south right-of-way line of Lewis Street to the north right-of-way line of Holden Street EXCEPT that portion of Front Avenue lying between a line parallel with and 10 feet north of the westerly projection of the north right-of-way line of Columbia Street and a line parallel with and 10 feet south of the westerly projection of the south right-of-way line of Columbia Street and EXCEPT that portion of Front Avenue lying between a line parallel with and 20 feet north of the westerly projection of the north right-of-way line of Holden Street and westerly projection of the north right-of-way line of Holden Street; will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 525 North 3rd Avenue, Pasco, Washington, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., on the 6th day of March, 2000. That the City Clerk of the City of Pasco give notice of said public hearing as required by law. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 7th day of February, 2000.
