A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS
CITY PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco holds title to real property located
beginning at Tract 5, Section 19, Township 9 North, Range 30, East W.M.
records of Franklin County described as follows: South 100 feet of the North
330 of the East half of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter EXCEPT the West 87.5 feet and EXCEPT the South 50 feet
of the north 280 feet of the East 165 feet and also EXCEPT the Right-of-Way
for Roads along the East side.
WHEREAS, said real property is surplus to the needs of the City of Pasco
and it is in the public interest that the property be sold to assist low to
moderate income individuals in obtaining services.
WHEREAS, a minimum value for the property must be established to
guarantee a reasonable return, now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Manager is authorized to negotiate a sales agreement for
the property referenced herein, to purchaser(s) for a price not less
than the established minimum of$10,000.
2. The City Manager is authorized to sign the deed as authorized by
this resolution on behalf of the City and conveying the real property
described herein to the purchaser(s).
3. The closing of such purchase shall be at Pasco City Hall. The
purchaser(s) shall be responsible for all costs of recording the
Deed(s) and for the costs of any title insurance desired by the
purchaser(s).
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, at a regular meeting
this 18th day of January, 2000.
