HomeMy WebLinkAbout2434 Resolution CITY OF PASCO,WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 3 yI A RESOLUTION of the City of Pasco, Washington, declaring its intention to amend Ordinance No. 3247 of the City by adding additional territory to Utility Local Improvement District No. 134 of the City, and providing additional sewer improvements to serve the additional territory, fixing a time and place for public hearing on the final assessment roll for Utility Local Improvement District No. 134, and directing that notice thereof be given in the manner required by law. WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 3247 of the City of Pasco, Washington (the "City"), passed on August 18, 1997, created and established Utility Local Improvement District No. 134 of the City ("ULID No. 134"), and the City desires to amend that ordinance by adding additional territory to and providing additional sewer improvements to serve the enlarged territory as described in Exhibit A attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein; and WHEREAS, the final assessment roll for Utility Local Improvement District No. 134, which final assessment roll has been modified to include the enlarged territory and additional improvements described above, has been prepared as provided by law and is on file with the City Clerk, and it is necessary to fix the date for a public hearing before the City Council relating to the enlarged territory and confirming the final assessment roll for ULID No. 134; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, as follows: Section 1. The public hearing on enlarging the territorial boundary and confirmation of the final assessment roll for ULID No. 134 will be held before the City Council at 7:00 p.m., local time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 525 North 3`a Avenue, Pasco, Washington, on 50081028.01 May 3, 1999. The City Clerk-Treasurer is instructed to cause notice to be given both by mailing and publication as required by law. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, at a regular open public meeting thereof on the 15`h day of March, 1999.
