AN ORDINANCE relating to annexation and annexing certain real property to the City of Pasco. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco has declared, its intent to annex the following described territory to the City of Pasco pursuant to RCW Chapter 35A.14; and WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing on the proposed annexation has been published and posted as required by law; and, WHEREAS, a public hearing on the proposed annexation was held on May 4, 2009; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2. That the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Pasco be and the same is hereby adopted for the above described tract of land. Section 3. That said tract of land shall not assume any portion of the existing bonded indebtedness of the City of Pasco. Section 4. That said tract of land shall be in Voting District# 5. Section 5. That a certified copy of this ordinance be and the same shall be filed with the Franklin County Commissioners. Section 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on June 1, 2009.
