ORDINANCE NO, 3Vs
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THE NORTH/SOUTH
AND EAST/WEST ALLEY IN BLOCK 5, LONGS FIRST ADDITION.
WHEREAS, a qualified petition has been submitted to the City Council of the City of
asco requesting vacation of certain public rights-of-way within the City of Pasco; and
WHEREAS, when a public purpose is served and the general interest of the City
ictates,the City Council may vacate rights-of-way; and
WHEREAS, all steps and procedures required by law to vacate said right-of--way
ave been duly taken and performed; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO
RDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That portion of the alley in Block 5, Longs First Addition from the ,1 ;,.f;✓ r-
fast right-of-way line of Oregon avenue to intersection with the easterly projection of4he
north line of Parcel # 112-081-328, said parcel being the south 15 feet of Lot 5 and all of
�of 6 Longs First Addition, as depicted in Exhibit"1" be and the same is hereby vacated.

Section 2. That the City shall retain an easement and the right to exercise or grant
asements with respect to that portion of the vacated alley described as follows; Beginning at a

line 2 feet north and parallel to the north line of Lot 12, Block 5, Longs First Addition

of the City of Pasco in and with the office of the Auditor of Franklin County,
ashington.
s Section 4. This ordinance shall take full force and effect five (5) days after
�pproval, passage and publication as required by law.
