AN ORDINANCE of the City of Pasco, Washington, concerning sewer
service requirements.
WHEREAS, the City Council, in 1981 under Ordinance No. 2303, when enacting a
policy that all new development within the city connect to the municipal water and sewer
systems, recognized that the city had not yet extended the municipal sewer system to certain
industrial areas of the city and, therefore, provided an exception from the new requirement for
those certain areas; and,
WHEREAS, since 1981, the city has extended the municipal sewer system to the extent
that all areas of the city can either connect to the system or seek a waiver, as provided under
PMC 16.06, thus eliminating the need for an unqualified exception for those certain areas
identified in conjunction with Ordinance No. 2303; NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OR PASCO,WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That PMC Section 16.06.020 entitled "Exemptions" be and the same hereby
is repealed in its entirety.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take full force and effect five (S) days after its approval,
passage and publication required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, and approved as
