AN ORDINANCE of the City of Pasco, Washington, creating Chapter
3.131 of the Pasco Municipal Code entitled "Rivershore Trail and Marina
Maintenance Fund".
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, has determined that a
new fund entitled"Rivershore Trail and Marina Maintenance Fund" is necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Chapter 3.131 of the Pasco Municipal Code is hereby created to read as
follows:
3.131.010 CREATED. There is herby created a special fund to be known as the
"Rivershore Trail and Marina Maintenance Fund" for the purpose of accounting for funds
received, disbursed or expended in conjunction with the City's lease of the Pasco Boat Basin
Marina and Rivershore Trail/Linear Park from the Corps of Army Engineers. All assets and
liabilities of the fund known as the Boat Basin Fund are hereby transferred to the Rivershore
Trail and Marina Maintenance Fund and said Boat Basin Fund is hereby dissolved, effective
December 31, 2004.
3.131.020 USE. The fund shall be used for the proper receipting and disbursement of all
fiends utilized, borrowed, received and expended in connection with the development and
maintenance of the Pasco Boat Basin Marina and the Rivershore Trail on property leased by the
City of Pasco from the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and
five days following its publication as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco at its regular meeting this 30ay of
2004.
