AN ORDINANCE vacating a portion of Industrial Way.
WHEREAS, a qualified petition has been submitted to the City Council of
the City of Pasco requesting vacation of certain public rights-of-way within the
City of Pasco; and
WHEREAS, from time to time in response to petitions or in cases where
it serves the general interest of the City, the City Council may vacate rights-of-
way; and
WHEREAS, all steps and procedures required by law to vacate said right-
of-way have been duly taken and performed; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That portion of Industrial Way Beginning at the southwest corner of said
Section 8, Township 9 North, Range 30 East, W.M said corner being South 4'14' 13"
West 5471.86 feet from the northwest corner of said section; thence South 89°23'28"
East along the South line of the southwest quarter of said section 8 a distance of
782.49 feet to a point on the East right-of-way of a proposed extension of Industrial
Way; thence North 1°05'06" East 508.87 feet along said East line to the beginning of a
tangent, 740.00 foot radius curve to the left; thence 133.19 feet along the arc of said
curve through a central angle of 10'18'45" to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
Thence continuing 67.75 feet along the arc of said curve through a central angle of
5'14'45" to a point on the centerline of an existing rail siding; thence North 60°28'07"
East 2.12 feet along said centerline; thence South 18°46'28" East 67.63 feet; thence
South 71°13'13" West 10.25 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, as depicted in
Exhibit "1" be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That a certified copy of this ordinance be recorded by the
City Clerk of the City of Pasco in and with the office of the Auditor of Franklin
County, Washington.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days after
passage and publication or summary publication as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, at its regular meeting
2002.
