AN ORDINANCE ASSIGNING ZONING TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF PASCO.
WHEREAS, on September 16, 1999, the Planning Commission of the
City of Pasco conducted a public hearing to develop a recommendation for the
assignment of zoning to certain properties; in the event those properties
were incorporated within the City; and
WHEREAS, on December 31, 1999, Ordinance No. 3390, effectively
annexed certain real property to the City of Pasco; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described area, situated in Franklin
County, Washington to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the West right-of-way line of Road 44, said point
being the northeast corner of Lot 6, Block 1, Burroughs Addition; Thence
westerly along the north line of Lots 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, Block 1, Burroughs
Addition to the intersection with the east Right-of-Way line of Rd. 46;
Thence continuing west along the projection of the north line of Lot 1, Block
1, Burroughs Addition to the intersection with the west right-of-way line of
Rd. 46, said intersection being the northeast corner of Lot 3, Block 1, Paul's
Addition; Thence westerly along the north line of Lots 3, 2 and 1, Block 1,
Paul's Addition to the northeast corner of Lot 3, Block 2, Weige's Addition;
Thence westerly along the north line of Lots, 3,2,1 of Block 2, Weige's
Addition to the intersection with the east right-of-way line of Road 48;
Thence continuing westerly along the extension of the north line of Lot 1,
Block 2, Weige's Addition to the intersection with the west right-of-way line
of Rd. 48, said intersection being the northeast corner of Lot 6, Block 1,
Weige's Addition; Thence westerly along the north line of Lots 6, 5, 4, 3, 2,
and 1, Block 1, Weige's Addition to the intersection with the east right-of-way
line of Rd. 50; Thence westerly along the westerly extension of the north line
of Lot 1, Block 1, Weige's Addition to the west right-of-way of Rd. 50, the
same being the west line of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter
of the northwest quarter of Section 26, Township, 9 North Range 29 East
W.M.; Thence northerly along the west line of the southeast quarter of the
northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 26, Township, 9 North
Range 29 East to the north line of the southeast quarter of the northwest
quarter of the northwest of Section 26, Township, 9 North Range 29 East;
Thence easterly along said north line to the intersection with the west line
of the east half of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of the
northwest quarter of Section 26, Township, 9 North Range 29 East; Thence
along said west line to the intersection with the south right-of-way line of
Court Street; Thence continuing north along the projection of said west line
to the north right-of-way line of Court Street; Thence easterly along the
north right-of-way line of Court Street to a point 301.24 feet west of the west
right-of-way line of Road 44, said point being the intersection with the west
line of Short Plat 81-10; Thence southerly along the southerly projection of
the west line of Short Plat 81-10 to the intersection with the south right-of-
way line of Court Street; Thence easterly along the south right-of-way line of
Court Street to intersection with the west right-of-way or Road 44; Thence
southerly along the west right-of-way line of Road 44 to the point of
beginning.
as depicted in the map attached hereto and labeled Exhibit 1 be and the
same is hereby assigned R-S-12 ( Suburban Residential) zoning, except that
the
North 170.02 feet of the East 371.71 feet thereof as depicted in Exhibit 1
shall be assigned the O (Office) zoning.
Section 2. That any and all zoning maps be and the same are hereby
amended to conform to the aforesaid assignment of zoning.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on
December 31, 1999.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 6th day of
December 1999.
