The meeting was called to order by Tom Davenport at 5:35 p.m. Abigail moved to approve the minutes of the February 2, 2012 meetii carried. STAFF REPORTS Recreation • We took 15 people to Stars on Ice • Hosted 12 people in our hand -made birthday card class • We had 9 students in our Hip Hop Class • 9 people signed up for a partnership program in Juggling with • 4 people signed up for Baby Rise and Sign Class • 11 Teams in Women's Basketball • 11 Teams in Men's Church League Basketball • Replaced electric valve at Rd. 68 Soccer • Had pump at Heritage Park repaired and re- installed • Replaced filter at Heritage Park Trees: • Pruned Trees on Burden Blvd, Rd 76, Rd 84, and Sandifur • Pruned shrub beds at Rd 68 water tower and Rd. 36 pumping Pools: Kurtzman Pool: • Remove debris and pump excess water from pool Richardson Pool: • Remove debris and pump excess water from pool General: • Replaced two faucets at Library restrooms • Replaced faucet in the Police men's locker room • Removed and replaced hot water heater at Animal Control • Fixed ice machine at Sr. Ctr. by reattaching drain pipe • Replaced heating elements and upper thermostat for hot wat stand at Rd. 68 Softball complex • De- winterize and open CXT restrooms at Riverview Park and • Fixed sink hole and repaired asphalt in parking lot of Farmer's Park • Removed furniture from Sr Ctr because of bed bug infestatior • Reset plaque at Library - due to vandalism • Put out pre- emergence at various areas in town • Leaf removal Director • Updated Council on the Chiawana Park Restroom /Playground • Updated Council on the Gesa Stadium and Chiawana Parking • Discussed Kiwanis shelter proposal at Memorial Park Other • Tom informed staff that WSU is no longer offering Science Cai • Discussed the new swim lesson fees of $20 for residents and • Discussed the status of the bench placement requested by far with family has been made several times by staff.
