Old Business
There was no old business discussed
New Business
A. The floors in the multi-purpose rooms will not be refinished this year.
They will be buffed at a later date.
B. The Pasco Senior Center has teamed up with Aging and Long Term
Care and several other local agencies to collect items that will be given
away to needy seniors in our area at Christmas time. Donations are
being accepted and may be brought to the front desk. A list of items
needed/suggested is available at the front desk.
C. A discussion on allowing alcohol for Senior Center rentals took place.
Ron Van Nostrand and Katie Barton would like to see this pursued
further. Tom Larson would like to think more about this topic and
Linda Hendrickson-Patrick is not in favor of the idea although she did
suggest that we consider a dress code that would exclude gang attire
if we are to allow alcohol during rentals in the facility.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 11:00 a.m. The
next meeting will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Chairperson for this
meeting will be Margaret Moore.
