• We are hosting our own Tri-Cities Swim Team Championship meet today as the meeting
is taking place
• At the pools this summer we have had:
0 2,153 registrations for aquatics classes (swim lessons, lifeguard training and
aerobics)
o This equals 21,530 participant visits to our pools for classes
0 21,067 open swim visits
0 332 lap swim visits
o $1,343.50 collected in locker fees
o Total collected for summer as of August 4: $101,545.95
• This year was the first year we held a street dance prior to the Grand Old 4t" Parade in
front of the announcer's stage. We were hoping for 50 kids and we ended up with
about 300 happy dancing kids and adults!
o Also, the increase in fireworks show was very well received with only a handful of
people who complained about not having the stage and music this year. In future
