Description:Side yard is not landscaped or treated to control blowing dust.PMC 25.75.050(5)
(1)Violation:
Portions of your property that are not landscaped or covered with improvements have NOT been treated to
prevent blowing dust and erosion.
(2)Corrective Action:
Install live ground cover,such as grass,on all portions of the property that have not been landscaped or treat those
portions with a cover that prevents blowing dust(i.e.pea gravel,bark,decorative rock,etc.).
Description:No rental license for this property.PMC 5.78.010
(1)Violation:
A City of Pasco rental license is required for all rental dwelling unit(s).
(2)Corrective Action:
Obtain a City of Pasco rental license from the City Clerk's office(please call(509)545-3402 for more
information or obtain a license application online at www.pasco-wa.gov/licensePermit/ClerkRentalDwelling).

(1)Violation:
Failing to renew your City of Pasco business license and engaging in business within the City of Pasco without a
required City of Pasco business license.
(2)Corrective Action:
Renew your City of Pasco business license and pay all outstanding fees and late fees. Discontinue ALL business
activities until such time as your license has been renewed. Licenses are to be renewed annually on the first
regular business day of January,but in no case later than the last regular working day of February each year.
Please call the City Clerk's office at(509)545-3402 for fee information. IF YOU ARE OUT OF BUSINESS,
YOU MUST CALL THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE AT THE NUMBER LISTED ABOVE.

(1)Violation:
Installing or maintaining a cross-connection from the public water supply to any other water supply system,
operating a private water supply while connected to City water,and/or failing to install and maintain an approved
backflow prevention assembly.
(2)Corrective Action:
Submit documentation showing an approved backflow prevention assembly has been properly installed and meets
minimum Washington State Department of Health and City of Pasco requirements.

Description: VEHICLE PARTS PMC 9.60.030(12)
(1)Violation:
All places used or maintained as junkyards,or dumping grounds,or for the wrecking or disassembling of
automobiles,trucks,tractors,or machinery of any kind,or for the storing or leaving of worn-out,wrecked or
abandoned automobiles,trucks,tractors,or machinery of any kind,or of any of the parts thereof,or for the storing
or leaving of any machinery or equipment used by contractors or builders or by other persons.
(2)Corrective Action:
Discontinue wrecking or disassembling automobiles,trucks,etc. Remove and lawfully dispose of all wrecked or
abandoned vehicles,machinery,etc.along with any parts thereof. Discontinue the storage of heavy machinery or
equipment(i.e.front end loaders,dump trucks,backhoes,etc.)at this property.
Description: WEEDS IN EXCESS OF 6 FT.PMC 9.60.030(16)
(1)Violation:
Weeds,noxious weeds,grass,and other vegetation which constitutes a fire hazard,encroaches on sidewalks or
neighboring properties,is damaging public improvements, impairs the vision of traffic signs or signals,and/or has
reached a height of twelve inches(12").
(2)Corrective Action:
Eradicate weeds by chemicals,cutting or other acceptable means so that they do not exceed twelve inches(12"),
encroach on neighboring properties,constitute a fire hazard,etc. Weeds that are cut or removed by the root must
be removed from the property and lawfully disposed of.
Description: TRASHAND LITTER ALONG ALLEY WAYAND BARRELS STORED WITH FL UIDS IN
REAR PMC 9.60.030(6)
(1)Violation:
Any parcel within the City which is filthy,littered or trash-covered due to placing,dropping,disposing,throwing
away,or otherwise discarding litter,garbage,refuse,cans,bottles,paper or paper material,metal, organic or
inorganic material on areas of the property other than approved garbage containers.
(2)Corrective Action:
Remove and lawfully dispose of all litter,garbage,junk or vegetative waste on the property.
Description: VEHICLE TIRES LOCATED IN THE REAR OF THIS BUILDING PMC 9.60.030(9)
(1)Violation:
Scrap metal,ashes,bric-a-brac,broken stone or cement,broken crockery,broken glass,broken plaster,
automobile bodies and/or parts,and all such trash or abandoned material that are not kept in approved containers.
(2)Corrective Action:
Remove all vehicle parts,scrap metal,machinery,disassembled vehicles,etc.from the property or store these
items in an enclosed container or building. Remove and lawfully dispose of all junk items(e.g.any items or
which have served their intended original purpose)and unusable vehicle parts.

Description:Lawns throughout the property are dead and infested with weeds.PMC 9.60.030(15)
(1)Violation:
Lawns,shrubs,trees or other plantings that have been dead for more than three(3)frost free months;and any
front or rear yard areas on any lot,parcel or tract of land in a residential district that has become populated with
weeds to the extent that it subjects neighboring residential properties to weed growth.
(2)Corrective Action:
Restore of replace any landscaping elements that have died and remove and lawfully dispose of excess weeds on
the property.
Description: Tall weeds throughout the property.PMC 9.60.030(16)
(1)Violation:

Allowing storm drainage to leave your property.
(2)Corrective Action:
Retain all storm drainage on your site by way of drainage swales,dry-wells,French drains or other means as
approved by the City Engineer. (May need to have drains cleaned more often.)
Description:Repeat--Trash, litter and miscellaneous debris scattered and deposited in the rear alley of
this property.PMC 9.60.030(6)
(1)Violation:
Any parcel within the City which is filthy,littered or trash-covered due to placing,dropping,disposing,throwing

Remove and lawfully dispose of all waste on property.

e. MOTION: "I move that the Board approve Resolution No. 2010-10, as amended, finding that code
violations have been corrected and may be dismissed, deferring action on certain cases until proper
notification is made, accepting voluntary correction agreements, and assessing penalties and imposing time
frames on certain cases."
