MEETING OF MAY 8,2008
Chairperson Dwayne Speer called the regular meeting of the Code Enforcement Board to order
at 7:00 p.m.

STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Mitch Nickolds, Debbie Scott, Martin Barajas, Lloyd
Coughlin, Jake Hickman, and Sophia Aquarius
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Lisa Gemig made a motion to accept the minutes of April 3, 2008
as mailed. Mary Gutierrez seconded, motion carried unanimously.
DETERMINATION HEARINGS
A. Dismissals
Lisa Gemig made a motion to accept Resolution No. 2008-05. Larry Smith seconded, motion
carried unanimously.
COMPLIANCE HEARINGS:
(1) City of Pasco vs. WALSH LEON J(CEB2008-0250) 1611 N 13TH AVE
Violation: The property owner has failed to submit documentation showing the
backflow preventer meets minimum test requirements
CODE BOARD DECISION: Board ordered WALSH, LEON J. pay an immediate
penalty of$100 for a REPEAT Violation and all remaining cited violations be abated
within 10 DAYS, or pay a daily penalty of$100 per day until property comes into
compliance.
(2) City of Pasco vs. WALSH LEON J(CEB2008-0253) 802 W SYLVESTER ST
Violation: The property owner has failed to submit documentation showing the
backflow preventer meets minimum test requirements
CODE BOARD DECISION: Board ordered WALSH, LEON J.pay an immediate
penalty of$100 for a REPEAT Violation and all remaining cited violations be abated
within 10 DAYS,or pay a daily penalty of$100 per day until property comes into
compliance.
(2) City of Pasco vs. LEE LIVING TRUST(CEB2008-0201) 1912 W. Pearl
Violation: Lots of trash, litter and miscellaneous debris in public view. Household
furniture and appliances in public view. Unapproved screening material on west side of
property. Dilapidated fencing. Auto parts. Dead and dying front yard landscaping.
Peeling, chipped paint on this house needs to be painted.
CODE BOARD DECISION: Board ordered LEE LIVING TRUST that all remaining
cited violations be abated within 30 DAYS, or pay a daily penalty of$100 per day until
property comes into compliance.

There being no further business to come before the Code Enforcement Board, the meeting was
adjourned at 7:51 p.m.
