RESOLUTION NO. 4790
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON,
APPROVING THE SALE OF CITY-OWNED REAL PROPERTY LOCATED
AT THE CORNER OF NORTH 20TH AVENUE AND WEST ARGENT
STREET, PARCEL NO. 113300252, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco (City) owns certain real property located at the corner of
North 20th Avenue and West Argent Street, identified as Franklin County Parcel No. 113300252
(Property); and
WHEREAS, on April 15, 2024, the Pasco City Council adopted Resolution No. 4443,
declaring the Property surplus to the needs of the City and authorizing the City Manager to market
the Property for sale through a qualified real estate broker, with the sale subject to final approval
by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Property was marketed for sale in accordance with Resolution No. 4443;
and
WHEREAS, the City received an offer from Richland Investment Group LLC to purchase
the Property for $1,400,000, as set forth in the Purchase and Sale Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed Purchase and Sale Agreement
and finds that the sale of the Property under the terms and conditions contained therein is in the
best interest of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PASCO, WASHINGTON:
That the City Manager is authorized to execute the Purchase and Sale Agreement for the
sale of City-owned real property located at the corner of North 20th Avenue and West Argent
Street, Parcel No. 113300252, and to take all necessary steps required to accomplish this
transaction. and
Be It Further Resolved, that this resolution shall take effect immediately.
