RESOLUTION NO. 4771
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON,
SETTING 7:00 PM, AUGUST 17, 2026, AS THE TIME AND DATE FOR A
PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A FIBER OPTIC CABLE FRANCHISE
WITH LIGHTSPEED NETWORKS, INC.
WHEREAS, LightSpeed Networks, Inc. has applied for a fiber optic cable franchise within
City of Pasco right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, LightSpeed Networks, Inc. and City staff have prepared a new fiber optic
cable franchise agreement; and
WHEREAS, Pasco Municipal Code requires City Council to hold a public hearing prior
to approving or denying a proposed fiber optic cable Franchise Agreement with NFC Northwest
LLC..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PASCO, WASHINGTON:
That a public hearing to consider a fiber optic cable Franchise Agreement with LightSpeed
Networks, Inc. will be held before the City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers
at 525 N 3rd Avenue, Pasco, Washington at the hour of 7:00 p.m. on the 17th Day of August ,2026,
and
Be It Further Resolved, that the city Clerk of the City of Pasco give notice of said public
hearing as required by law, and
Be It Further Resolved, that this resolution shall take effect immediately.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, on this 3rd day of August,
2026.
