2026-2028 Community Health Improvement
Plan for Benton and Franklin Counties
How were the priorities selected?
Five priority areas were identified through the CHA—representing broad and complex
community needs. The CHIP Steering Committee, which helps guide the CHIP, helped
narrow down these topics and select a key environmental health issue to include in the
CHIP. The CHIP Steering Committee prioritized issues based on effort, feasibility, and
capacity. The final priority areas were selected after further conversation with Steering
Committee members and experts.
