Five priority areas were identified through the CHA—representing broad and complex community needs. The CHIP Steering Committee, which helps guide the CHIP, helped narrow down these topics and select a key environmental health issue to include in the CHIP. The CHIP Steering Committee prioritized issues based on effort, feasibility, and capacity.
