CALL TO ORDER
City of Pasco Historic Preservation Commission was called to order by Chair Stafford.
ROLL CALL
Commissioners Present: Marilynn Baker, Jay Hendler, Devi Tate and Chair Dan Stafford
Commissioners Excused: Malin Bergstrom
Staff Present: C&EDDeputy Director Craig Raymond & PW Capitol Improvement Project Manager Ryan
Mehaffey.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioners unanimously approve the meeting minutes from January 6, 2026.
UNFINSHIED BUSINESS
• Sylvester Donation Discussion
Brief discussion of Sylvester plaque. Deputy Director Raymond stated Mr. Sylvester reiterated he did
not desire anything beyond a plaque, and it was his sense from Mr. Sylvester’s email, that he did not
want to participate further with other side projects such as the family tree etc. Only in addition to his
earlier request is he wanted a photo of Dieudonne Sylvester on the plaque.
PUBLIC HEARINGS

WORSHOP
The Commission toured the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center with Ryan Mehaffey.

ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned by Commissioners at 5:00 pm.
