• Update to the LEOFF 1 Membership
o Attached updated member roster.

• Long Term Care Requests
o We have one new long-term care request to address as a board. The facility information
and letter provided by the family of the member is attached (Attachment A).
o As voted in the previous month’s meeting, the benchmark tool to utilize for the
reimbursement threshold is the Genworth Survey/Care Scout: Cost of Long Term Care by
State | Cost of Care Report | Carescout, which will replace the current Long Term Care
Rates Matrix.
o The clerk has done some research on language from other boards to aid in the
conversation surrounding long term care. Attached are the examples that were provided to
the clerk (Attachment B). They were provided by the Tacoma, Walla Walla, and Spokane
County boards. The request to find a LEOFF 1 attorney has been unsuccessful, but the
clerk will continue to reach out to other boards.
