• Long Term Care Requests
o The board has now received two new long-term care requests. One of the requests is for a
member that is currently in full-time assisted living care and the member’s spouse is seeking
reimbursement for care she has already paid for. The board is familiar with this case and is the
process of determining the reimbursement threshold for the member.
▪ The Board Clerk has provided the state averages (attachment A) as well as the Tri-Cities
Region averages (attachment B) for care.
o The second new long-term care requests is attached. It is for a member that is also seeking full
time facility care. The board had not received all of the information on this request, therefore had
not discussed or determined any action.
