ADJOURNMENT Page 1 of 18 Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Meeting Pa g e 2 o f 1 8 Recreation Report Program/League Highlights Adult Spring/Summer Softball •Completed – 31 teams across five divisions; In partnership with the City  of Kennewick.  Adult Fall Softball ◦First time offered in many years due to its conflict with Flag Football's use of the fields. Flag Football now moving to lighted soccer fields. ◦Starts Week of Sept 15 - 12 teams across four divisions; In partnership with the City of Kennewick.  COED Youth Summer Swim Leagues •Completed – Hosted Championship Meet at Memorial Pool on Friday,  August 1st Adult Flag Football •Starting Week of Sept. 15 – 15 teams across two divisions •Will be moving from SB Complex to new lighted Soccer fields  Pa g e 3 o f 1 8 Recreation Report Program/League Highlights After School Program   Summer •Completed - Max of 32 participants was upped to 44 for second session.    School Year •Started on Sept. 2  •Continuing transportation partnership with the School District to transport youth from adjacent elementaries. PR Runners Youth XC League ◦Started this week with 71 registered participants ◦6-week season with races held every other week at the Big Cross XC course.
