CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:40 pm, by John Morgan,
Chairperson
ROLL CALL
Board Members Present: Alex Thornton, John Morgan, Mark Middleton
and Michael Harrington
City Council Representative Present: David Milne
City Staff Present: Jesse Rice and Elizabeth Olivo
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approve the March 13, 2025, Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
Meeting Minutes
MOTION: Mr. Middleton move to approve the minutes from the March
13, 2025 Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meeting. Mr. Harrington
seconded the motion.Motion carried unanimously. 4-0
COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE & BOARD MEMBER REPORTS
Mr. Milne reported on the Arbor Day event he attended.
Mr. Morgan noted he had observed progress on the memorial pool
project and reported that weed spraying and general maintenance
efforts are ongoing throughout the city

Additional updates included:
Pasco Specialty Kitchen - Parklet installation
Ribbon cutting for Afghan Food
MISCELLANEOUS DISCUSSION
Next Meeting: July 10, 2025
Mr. Morgan ask for an update on the new aquatic facility.
Mr. Rice stated they plan on opening Memorial weekend of 2026 and
they are doing a financial comp study for cost to run the aquatic center.
Mr. Harrington asked for more information regarding the conference.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:15 pm.
