FIRE TRUCK: ' S" 6 10/1 AO'MP2
I encourage the council to approve the expenditure for the replacement ladder fire truck
as presented in resolution.
This equipment is an important part of City infrastructure for safety particularly
considering the significant risk the city takes in choosing to NOT enforce the fireworks
laws that were enacted for several factors of public safety and quality of life.
THANK YOU
4T" of J U LY:
I urge the council in their plans for the city 4t" of July celebrations to make every effort to
publicize and encourage the safe, legal, and courteous use of personal fireworks.
Plan for and accommodate alternate public transportation from outlying parking sites to
the hub of the city sponsored activities at the Gesa Stadium. The traffic congestion that
occurs from those events in the past has proved to be hazardous and restrict the flow of
police and fire response to the area in general.
I'm not wishing to eliminate the sponsored professional traditional fireworks display, but I
do commend the council on the inclusion of drone displays as an environmentally
preferred alternate to the traditional pyrotechnics.
THANKYOU
Resolution - Agenda -Setting Policy for Regular and Special City Council Meetings and
Workshops
I urge the council to adopt and adhere to the proposed agenda setting policy. The
community, not often privy to the current issues at hand to be discussed will have more
time previous to these meeting to read and research on those matters.
THANK YOU
