▪ Attachment C – Proposed wording for the Medicare Part B & Long-Term Care
• Member Reimbursement Clarification
o Reimbursement Clarification – Hearing Aid Glasses
▪ The clerk notified the member of the board’s decision and informed them of the
documentation needed in order to determine the appropriate reimbursement amount.
They indicated that they would work to get that from their provider. They have not
submitted the information requested.
• Member Reimbursement Clarification
o The clerk has been following up with the member regarding their hearing aids/glasses
reimbursement. Have not received medical necessity documentation.

5. New Business:
• LEOFF Board Financials Presentation
o The intent of this presentation is to bring transparency and education to the board regarding the
finances for the LEOFF board. We are looking into this due to the increase of long-term care
requests.
▪ The goal of educating and understanding the LEOFF Disability Board financial health is
to be able to make informed decisions around future long term care requests, beginning
with an updated procedure and intake process.
