Resolution – Setting PH for PMC Zoning Text Amendment - 1
RESOLUTION NO. 4634
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON,
SETTING 7:00 PM, SEPTEMBER 2, 2025, AS THE TIME AND DATE FOR A
PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A TEXT CODE AMENDMENT TO THE
PASCO MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 25.85.020 RELATED TO CAR
WASHES.
WHEREAS, City Council adopted Ordinance No. 4766 creating a new PMC Chapter
25.176 “Drive-Through Facility Design Standards” at the May 5, 2025, Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, City Staff discovered another section of the Pasco Municipal Code (PMC)
related to car washes, in Subsection 25.85.020(14), also needed to be updated to ensure Council’s
intent for drive-through businesses, including car washes are current; and.
WHEREAS, City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of Pasco to hold a
public hearing regarding a proposed text amendment to PMC Subsection 25.85.020(14).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PASCO, WASHINGTON:
That a public hearing to consider text amendment to PMC subsection 25.85.020(14) will
be held before City Council of the City of Pasco in the Council Chambers at 525 N. Third Avenue,
Pasco, Washington at the hour of 7:00 p.m., on the 2nd day of September 2025.
Be It Further Resolved that the City Clerk of the City of Pasco give notice of said public
hearing as required by law.
Be It Further Resolved that this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, on this 4th day of August,
2025.
