ADJOURNMENT HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES City Hall - Council Chambers 525 North Third Avenue Pasco, Washington TUESDAY, MAY 6, 2025 4:00 PM Historic Preservation Meeting Minutes Page 1 of 2 May 6, 2025 CALL TO ORDER City of Pasco Historic Preservation Commission was call to order by Chair Dan Stafford. ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Marilynn Baker, Malin Bergstrom and Dan Stafford Commissioners Excused: Devi Tate Staff Present: C & ED Deputy Director Craig Raymond and Administrative Assistant II Carmen Patrick APPROVAL OF MINUTES Commissioner Bergstrom made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from March 4, 2025. Seconded by Commissioner Baker, motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Baker made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from April 1, 2025, with the updated train number. Seconded by Commissioner Bergstrom, motion passed unanimously. UNFINSHIED BUSINESS None PUBLIC HEARINGS None WORSHOP • Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center Renovation and Expansion Ryan Mahaffey was not available to attend the meeting but stated he had no updates for the Commission at this time. The Commission discussed possible candidates for the room naming list. Commissioner Baker will contact Dallas Barnes regarding the candidates and put together a brief background as to how they contributed to the city. The list will be ready for the next meeting where the candidates can be discussed. MISCELLANEOUS DISCUSSION • 100-year Centennial for the first commercial mail delivery flight Commissioner Bergstrom provided an update stating efforts to secure funding was not achieved by the committee, and that they are regrouping and working on finding other funding elsewhere. • Railroad Committee Commission Bergstrom stated they now have a committee and shared details on the recent meeting they had. ADJOURNMENT Meeting was adjourned the meeting at 4:47 pm.
