CALL TO ORDER
City of Pasco Historic Preservation Commission was call to order by Chair Dan Stafford.
ROLL CALL
Commissioners Present: Marilynn Baker, Davi Tate, Malin Bergstrom and Dan Stafford
Commissioners Excused:
Staff Present: CED Deputy Director Craig Raymond, Public Works CIP Manager Ryan Mahaffey
and Administrative Assistant II Carmen Patrick
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioners asked that the meeting minutes be approved at the next meeting.
UNFINSHIED BUSINESS
• 100-year Centennial for the first commercial mail delivery flight
The commissioners discussed the press conference scheduled for April 7 at 11 am.
Commissioner Bergstrom informed the commission that the committee is busy with event
plans, also working on funding and grants to help with costs of events.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
None
WORSHOP
• Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center Renovation and Expansion
Ryan Mahaffey let the Commission know that demolition has started, and the contractor is
doing a great job. Also informed that in Phase 2, there will be room that will need to be
named. He asked the Commission to gather names of people who have has an impact on the
community and get them to him.
OTHER BUSINESS
• Volunteer Park Train
Commissioner Baker let everyone know there is now a committee, and they will be meeting
to discuss improvements to train 1354 and the preservation of other important items related
to the railroad.
ADJOURNMENT
Meeting was adjourned the meeting at 5:10 pm.
