2. Approval of Minutes:
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: ____________________ moved to approve December 12th, 2024, minutes.

3. Clerk's Report/Correspondence:
• For the first quarter of 2025 the board Clerk would like to begin the review of the LEOFF Board’s rules
and outline areas that need to be updated.
o There are 9 sections of the rules, so the plan will be to tackle sections 1 and 2 for the first
quarter. We will then reconvene at the March meeting to decide how will we divide the rest of
the sections for review.
▪ If an electronic copy of the rules and procedures are needed, the Clerk can email them to
those requesting them.
4. Old Business:
• Medicare Part B Premiums –
o A spreadsheet with reimbursement amounts for those that submitted documentation has been
provided for review by the board. This will be the last batch for the 2023-year reimbursements.

o The clerk will begin sending out new letters for the 2024 reimbursement year in early February
to allow for the SSA-1099s to be received by the members.

• Creation of a process to address members that have passed and have not received the Medicare Part B
reimbursement.
o The proposed procedure is attached for review and approval. (Attachment B)

6. Applications for Reimbursement: Closed meeting during quasi-judicial process
• Member #1 $20.23 Medical Visit (insurance non-payment; ok to pay)
• Member #2 $1,072.00 In-home care (two weeks in January; ok to pay,
within threshold)
• Member #3 $2,670.00 In-home care (month of December; ok to pay,
within threshold)
• Various Members $2,143.70 Medicare Part B Reimbursements (final batch for
2024)
