1.) General description of sales tax revenue prediction model.
Look back at prior sales tax collections.
Team makes a group collective estimate of sales tax revenue percentage change.
2.) BFT experience sales tax revenue growth keeps pace with actual cost increases?
Should there be a revenue shortfall to cover costs — Federal subsidy utilized.
Perhaps a way to strengthen the estimate:
Benton -Franklin Council of Governments could serve as agency that collects local government sales tax
revenue change predictions. Pass back average information to participating agencies.
